Prepare for delivery
Bring the confirmed configuration, receiving details and agreed service scope together before shipment.
Correct delivery details
Confirm the address, postal code, floor and receiving contact. Make sure that person knows the building's arrangements and is available for the agreed delivery window. Keep the order and carrier references accessible for receiving and follow-up.
A checked access route
Record the loading point, handling route, door widths, corridor turns and final position. Check lift dimensions and load limits against actual package data. Identify stairs, restricted access times and special lifting requirements before delivery is arranged.
One written scope
Check who arranges freight, clearance, applicable duties and taxes, unloading, internal handling, assembly and packaging removal. Delivery to the loading area does not automatically include installation upstairs. Keep any exclusions or site responsibilities explicit in the accepted quote.
A site ready to receive
Confirm the position, suitable power, access bookings and person coordinating the installer. Arrange required site work and receiving resources in advance. Coordinate receiving and installation with the confirmed plan rather than assuming an automatic arrival or assembly time.
Document the handover
Inspect accessible packaging and parts, photograph visible problems and record them with the carrier. Keep the specification, package and delivery records. Contact FocusPod with the order reference about missing, damaged or incorrect components before completing the agreed handover.
